I ordred without expectations....and I am more than pleasantly surprised...! The perfume is very close to the 1974 Givenchy..C3oh..luvesi up to its commitment..
Thank you!
I ordered Gentleman 1974 from Aditya C3oh with a fair amount of scepticism. Recreating a fragrance that carries the memory and character of something I wore years ago is never an easy task. Yet, from the very first spray, I was taken straight back to that period. The resemblance is remarkably convincing, and the overall olfactive character has been captured with considerable care.
The opening is beautifully composed and settles into a very pleasing evolution on the skin. What impressed me particularly is the balance between the initial projection and the later dry-down. It does not simply disappear after the first hour; the fragrance continues to evolve, leaving a noticeable and elegant trail without becoming overpowering.
The performance has also been excellent on my skin. Even after around five hours, the fragrance still has very respectable projection and, more importantly, good sillage. I have actually had people ask me what I am wearing, which is perhaps the best compliment a fragrance can receive. It also wears comfortably without becoming harsh, synthetic or headache-inducing, which is a big plus for me.
I am especially curious to see how Gentleman 1974 develops after maceration. If the current performance and character are anything to go by, I suspect the fragrance may become even smoother, deeper and more rounded with a little more maturation. It already feels like a very successful recreation, but I have a feeling the best may yet be to come.
Excellent work, Aditya C3oh. You have managed to recreate not merely a scent, but a memory, and that is considerably harder to achieve. Keep doing what you are doing. I have a strong feeling another order will be coming your way very soon.
