Is Perfume Allowed on IndiGo Flights? Cabin & Check-In Baggage Rules
Share
Yes, perfume is allowed on IndiGo flights, but cabin and checked baggage follow different rules.
IndiGo's current baggage guidance states that liquids in hand baggage must be in containers of 100 ml or less, and the containers must fit comfortably inside one transparent, resealable 1-litre plastic bag.
Flying IndiGo with a C3oh perfume?
C3oh’s 50 ml bottles sit comfortably below the usual 100 ml cabin container ceiling, making 50 ml the size we would choose when buying a full bottle specifically for travel.
Perfume in IndiGo cabin baggage
A 30 ml, 50 ml or 100 ml perfume bottle can generally travel in your hand baggage if it fits with your other liquids inside the required liquids bag and passes security screening.
Perfume in IndiGo checked baggage
IndiGo's dangerous-goods policy specifically lists Perfume/Deo as allowed in checked baggage up to 2 kg or 2 litres total, with the net quantity of each single article limited to 0.5 kg or 0.5 litre.
What perfume should you actually take?
For a warm-weather holiday, C3oh Light Blue W is a fresh citrus-floral option. If you want one easy unisex fragrance that works across casual days and dinners, try C3oh One.
If you would rather carry several fragrances, the On the Beach Discovery Set uses individual 2 ml sprays and is much easier to fit into a liquids bag than several full bottles.
How should you pack the bottle?
For cabin baggage, secure the cap and keep the perfume in the transparent liquids bag. For checked baggage, place the bottle in a sealed pouch, wrap it individually and cushion it in the middle of the suitcase.
